From the famous speech American President Ronald Reagan gave at East Berlin in 1987, commanding USSR President Mikhail Gorbachev to “Tear Down This Wall!”

The reunification fo Germany brought prosperity and capitalism to East Germany, along with opportunity for citizens oppressed for decades. It also resulted in a stronger, more powerful economy for the now larger country of Germany.
